Tour Plan

Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar (200 KM/8 Hr drive)

Get to Delhi airport, pick up your car, and drive to Haridwar. A tour of Haridwar and the Ganga aarti at Har ki Pauri. Spend the night at the hotel in Haridwar.

Temples and things to see include Har-ki-Pauri, Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, and more.

Day 2: Haridwar-Rishikesh-Gauptkashi/Sitapur: (225 kms, 8 hrs drive)

Drive to Deoprayag along the Ganga River and then to Guptkashi. Then they went along the Alakhnanda River to Rudraprayag and then along the Mandakani River to Guptkashi. Get there and go to your camp or hotel. Dinner and a night at the camp, cottages, or hotel

Day 3: Guptkashi-Sonprayag-Kedarnath

By heli: Go to the Guptkashi/Phata helipad at the time you said you would be there to take the helicopter to Kedarnath ji. The flight from Phata takes about 15 minutes. When you get to Kedarnath ji, go to the Kedarnath temple for the holy darshan. Check into your hotel and spend the night in Kedarnath.

By Trek: Start early at 4:00 am, drive 30 km to Sonprayag, and then take shared jeeps from there to Gaurikund. If you love trekking, you can trek 16 km to Kedarnath ji. Arrive at Kedarnath ji and check into your hotel. After you get settled, go to the temple for pooja darshan. You can also go to the evening aarti at Kedarnath ji. Spend the night in Kedarnath

Day 4: Kedarnath-Sonprayag-Guptkashi

Get up early and go to morning darshan. After darshan, go back to Gaurikund. Get a ride to Sonprayag in a shared jeep. Get in the car and drive back to your hotel in Guptkashi.

People who are taking the helicopter back can go to the helipad at the time they said they would. Take a flight back to the Phata/Guptkashi helipad, get in the car, and drive to the hotel.

The Triyujinarayan Temple is 13 km off the road from Sonprayag. You can go to the temple for an extra fee if the traffic is good.

The Kalimath temple is 13 km off the road from Guptkashi. You can go to the temple for an extra fee if the traffic is good.

Day 5: Guptkashi/Sitapur-Rishikesh (230 km/7hr)

We go to Rishikesh after breakfast. The rest of the day is free. Visit Ramjhulka and Laxmanjhula in the evening and then go to Parmarth Niketan for Ganga Aarti. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Rudraprayag confluence, Dhari Devi Temple, Devprayag confluence, Lakshman jhula, Ramjhula, Geeta Bhawan, Swarg Ashram, Parmarth Niketan, and Shivanand Ashram are all important places to see.

Day 6: Rishikesh-Delhi (230 km/6 hr)

Check out after breakfast and drive to Delhi. Get there and go to the airport or train station.
