The Do Dham Yatra is a pilgrimage to two of the four holy Dhams: Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. The most common route is to Kedarnath and Badrinath. Lord Vishnu is honored at Badrinath, which is known as Nar Narayan. Lord Shiva is honored at Kedarnath, which is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Hindus place a lot of spiritual value on this yatra.
Every year, millions of people go to Kedarnath and Badrinath in Uttarakhand. Some people like to go to Badrinath and Gangotri instead of trekking, while others who have already done the Kedarnath and Badrinath yatra choose Yamunotri and Gangotri to finish the Char Dham darshan.
