The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most important Hindu pilgrimages. It includes four holy sites: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Starting in Haridwar, the gateway to the Himalayas, this spiritual journey gives followers a perfect mix of divine and stunning natural beauty. If you want to keep things simple, you can finish the Yatra without spending the night in Kedarnath. This will make the trip easier and more enjoyable.

Tour Plan :
Day 1: Haridwar – Janki Chatti (220km/8hrs drive)
We drive 200km to Barkot/Syanachatti halting en-route at Mussoorie and the scenic Kempty Falls. Lakhamandal. is also a popular stopover spot. On reaching Janki Chatti we check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel
Day 2: Janki Chatti – Yamunotri – Janki Chatti – Uttarkashi (5km trek one side/155km/ 7hrs drive)
From Jankichatti we then trek for 5km to reach the temple of Goddess Yamuna on the banks of the Yamunotri river. While taking a dip in the hot springs you can also cook rice wrapped in cloth by immersing it in the holy tank. Return to Jankichatti and drive to Uttarkashi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Uttarkashi - Gangotri – Uttarkashi 100km/4-5hrs drive each side)
After breakfast we head for Harsil valley one of the most scenic spots in the world. Stopping at Gangnani on the way to take a dip in a hot spring after which we reach Gangotri in an hour’s time (22km).
After bathing and pooja you can relax till afternoon after which we return to Uttarkashi
Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Sitapur /Rampur (210km/8hrs drive)
After breakfast we head for Sitapur/Rampur.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Sitapur/Rampur – Guptkashi – Kedarnath (02km by road and 22km trekking 8-12hrs)
By Helicopter: Report at Guptkashi/Phata/Sirsi Helipad at the time notified earlier. Flying time is 15 minutes.
By Trekking: Start early at 3am and drive 02km to Sonprayag. Travel by shared jeeps to Gaurikund. If you enjoy trekking you can do the 22km to Kedarnath and enjoy it thoroughly. Overnight in Tent at Kedarnath.
Day 6: Guptakashi – Phata-Kedarnath-Guptkashi
By heli: At 5:30 a.m., you will leave for the Guptkashi/Phata helipad to catch the helicopter to Kedarnath ji. The flight from Phata takes about 15 minutes. When you get to Kedarnath ji, go to the Kedarnath temple for the holy darshan. After darshan, take a helicopter back to Phata. Stay overnight in Guptkashi.
By Trek: Start early at 4:00 a.m., drive to Sonprayag, and then take shared jeeps to Gaurikund. From there, you can hire a pony or palki from the government counter. If you love trekking, you can hike 16 km to Kedarnath ji and do darshan pooja at the temple. After darshan, go back the way you came to Gaurikund. Get a jeep to Sonprayag and then go back to your hotel. Spend the night at the hotel.
Kedarnath Temple and Guptkashi Temple are two important places to see.
Day 7: Guptkashi - Badrinath (230 km / 8 hrs)
By heli: Go to the Guptkashi/Phata helipad at the time you said you would be there to take the helicopter to Kedarnath ji. The flight from Phata takes about 15 minutes. When you get to Kedarnath ji, go to the Kedarnath temple for the holy darshan. Check into your hotel and spend the night in Kedarnath.
By Trek: Start early at 4:00 a.m. and drive 30 km to Sonprayag. From there, take shared jeeps to Gaurikund. If you love trekking, you can trek 16 km to Kedarnath ji. Arrive at Kedarnath ji and check into your hotel. After you get settled, go to the temple for pooja darshan. You can also go to the evening aarti at Kedarnath ji. Spend the night in Kedarnath

Day 8: Badrinath – Rudraprayag: (165 km, 06 hrs):
We eat breakfast early and then go to Badrinath through Chopta, which is one of the most beautiful places we see on the journey. Have fun driving through the wonderful medicinal woodlands. When you get to Badrinath, check in at your hotel. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Ukhimath Temple, Chopta & Narsing Temple in the Joshimath are some of the most important attractions to see.
Day 9: Rudraprayag– Rishikesh-Haridwar (165 km, 06 hrs):
We go to Haridwar from Rishikesh after breakfast. Take the train to the hotel or the train station.
Rudraprayag confluence, Dhari Devi Temple, Devprayag confluence, Lakshman jhula, Ramjhula, Geeta Bhawan, Swarg Ashram, Parmarth Niketan, and Shivanand Ashram are all important places to see.
Keep in mind that all sightseeing depends on the traffic.
